Washington DC, July 2008. People all over America are dying, murders becoming more and more frequent. No one knows who the killer (or killers) are and each time the killings are getting more and more gruesome. Dr Brennan and her group are given the case, a possible serial killer out there, and Bones is determined to catch him or her.
Each time someone is killed, the method of murder changes, giving the group an idea that it isn't the same person each time. More and more people are moving into the city, and more and more people are dying. Can the group at the Jeffersonian Institute figure this out? Or will everyone die?
