In the small town of Forest City Pennsylvania there lies a secret, a secret which hasn't been revealed until a young girl named Desiree moved to Forest City and has uncovered it.
The whole townspeople of Forest City seem to be too strong and graceful for being humans. But they are not humans, they are werewolves and soon Desiree finds this out when she falls in love with one who goes by the name of Michael. But when Michael's pack doesn't approve of him and Desiree things start to go bad.
That's not only the bad thing happening in Desiree's life. She soon finds out her step father, Ron McCann, is a vampire. After hearing him talking to one of the vampires about destroying the werewolves, she goes to tell Michael but he's not around, so instead she has to tell Axel, the soon to be alpha of the pack.
When he shuts her out because he doesn't want to believe there are vampires in the town he tells her not to tell anyone, and then she thinks she's crazy but when Ron's son Jack kidnaps Desiree the werewolves have no other choice but to believe her now.
