Desiree sat in the way back of the book store holding onto a copy of Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austine one of her favorite books of all time. She turned the pages getting really into the books she had a copy of her own but she left the book back in New York City with her father, so she decided to come here and buy another one but she read the first few pages and now she was basically reading half the book already. She smiled as she read on oh wouldn't it be so fun to live back in those times Desiree always wanted to live back then maybe it would have been better then it was today, society was in the gutter and well Desiree could do without the whole MTV and politics thing.

Getting bored of searching through shops Eira saw a bookshop and wandered in, she had always liked bookshops. They could keep you entertained and you didn't even have to buy the book you were looking at. Looking through the fantasy aisle Eira picked up a book on werewolves. She loved reading these, finding out what the humans thought werewolves and vampires were like, even if sometimes they were wrong, that they had just not met the nicer of her kind. Humming a small tune that she had heard her mother sing when she was small, Eira opened the book at the first page and frowned at the picture they had inside. She could tell straight off that the person who had actually wrote this book had no idea what a werewolf looked like. Poor sod, wondering around thinking he knew when in fact he didn't. She had always pitied people like that, the ones who thought they knew everything when in fact a lot of things were beyond their knowledge.

Desiree turned the pages as she read through the book, smiling as always imagining how the world was back then, what they wore how they talked. Just thinking about it made her excited and she soon finished the whole book in only an hour of sitting. Desiree stood up and stretched her butt a little sore from sitting on the hard floor, she decided to look around for more books moving up and down the aisles still not seeing anything that caught her eye.

Reading more of the book, Eira couldn't contain the small bark of laughter that came out when the author of the book had put down that werewolves only eat human meat. As if. Rolling her eyes she put the book away and looked for more, this time picking up a Vampire based book she frowned when she saw the picture on the front. She had seen vampires up close and personal but this book made them seem close again, as if they were stalking the bushes outside the shop.
Shaking her head of them thoughts Eira opened the book and jumped in surprise when a pop up vampire head appeared in front of her. These were the books she hadn't tried to read, knowing they did things like that. Putting a hand over her heart she quickly put that book away and looked around more, hoping to find another werewolf one, or if she was lucky, a werewolf and a vampire. A book that showed their relationship.

Desiree walked to where the fantasy books were, there were some good books but most of them were cheesy as hell so she didn't bother much. She tried not to laugh as she pulled out a book that read 'The real Dracula' as if vampires really existed if they did then she was the Queen of England. Desiree put that book back as she walked looking at the titles of the books not seeing anyone standing there she bumped into that person by mistake. "I'm so sorry" she said as she looked up and smiled meekly, she always did have a problem with paying attention to where she was walking.

Eyes fully on the books, she noticed a yellow book, right at the top of the bookshelf. Frowing to herself Eira reached up and had just caught the top half of it when someone banged into her, making her hand move and take the book she was wanting and most from that shelf tumbling to the floor. Letting out a few choice words Eira bent down to pick them up before looking at the young girl again. Taking a small sniff she wasn't surprised to realise the girl was infact a human. "It's ok." She mumbled, picking the books up again. Stopping when the yellow one caught her eye, it had a picture of a real werewolf on the front, one she hadn't seen before. Letting the books in her arms drop she picked up the yellow book and opened it to a page. Gasping when the author described a werewolf pack and what they looked like together before and after the moon.

Desiree smiled meekly she was always clumsy she held the book closer so that she wouldn't drop it. "I'm really sorry" she muttered as she backed up a few steps giving her some room, Desiree always hated this awkward moment after bumping into someone but then she was shocked when the girl let out a gasp from reading a book "Uh you okay?" Desiree asked hesitantly as she raised an eyebrow and watched the girl warily.

Looking up at hte girl Eira nodded and clutched the book to her chest, she didn't want anyone to see this, let alone read it! The autor was either a werewolf himself or he had known a werewolf and followed it while it was distracted. She couldn't help the small growl escape her throat yet tried to cover it up with a small cough. Standing up she brushed her rather dark brown hair out of her eyes and put the books back with one hand. "No need to sorry, it was both our faults." She said kindly before turning to look at he girl properly. "Yeah i'm fine, just uh, a little shocked at this book is all." She said and gave the girl a small smile, hiding the small amount of fear that was building up with the fact of anyone could have read this book. Could have found anything out about her race.
((I'm back! And i'm staying!!))
