A slender woman walked down the steps leading into the bar. She was a vamp and her eyes glowed a radient blue/grey that glowed like a storm cloud deep inside them her arm was so black it looked like coal. She walked casually over to the bar with a little strut to get the guys attention and sat crossed legged upon the stool and turned around on it like alittle kid but she wasnt acting chikdish she was keeping an eye out for company that she knew would probably hurt her or worse. Upon not seeing them she turned back around and ordered a bottle of Jack Daniels so which she could sip on for the night. Kayla loved her whiksey and could drink like one of the guys. She pouredit in a drinking glass and lifted it to her full lips where she downed the glass with ease as if it were nothing. |

Kira walked into the bar for a drink, his dark red eyes would be the first thing anyone would notice. It would be a reason for any human to stay away, and to let over vampires know he drank human blood; and he wasn't trying to hide it. He walked to the bar and smelled the drinks he liked what the woman next to him was drinking. "I'll have what she's drinking" he said to the bar keep as he walked pasted. He nodded and walked into the back. He noticed the place seemed rather dull.

Kayla looked up from her drink seeing the blood red eyes and all. She gulped the rest of her whiskey and poured another glass. She smirked he would have what she was drinking so he liked his whiskey as well she thought. She looked around the bar taking in the dull scenery it was kind of run down but atleast the alcohol was good thats all that mattered to Kayla. She gave up on pouring the whiskey in the glass and just sipped from the bottle and she was content with just that. She watched the other vampire head to the back but that about it she had to be cautious around new vamps unexpected things always happened.

Kira waited until the keep came back, it was jack; just like he thought but he couldn't place a name on it before. Kira noticed she was glancing around and seemed more on edge,he guess she might have caught his eyes. She seemed to glare at him from time to time. "i didn't say anything for you to look at me" he said glancing around, no one seemed to care about what he said even the keep was out of ear shot "i couldn't place a name on the drink thats all" He wasn't in the mood to talk to little girls right now he just wanted to drink.

She looked at him her eyes widening and her body stiffening. She wasnt gonna take shit off of him so she would just keep her mouth shut and ignore his remark. She shrugged casually finishing the bottle then waved at the barkeep. " Hey can I have a Wild Turkey bottle" she asked him and he gladly obliged and handed her the bottle. She opened it and sipped on just what she need something a hell of alot stronger than good ol Jack Daniels her nerves were on end and she was exhausted it wouldnt be long she surmised. She heard him speak and wasnt sure how to answer what he just said so she nodded her eyes watched the exits the hairs on her neck were standing on end she was just over reacting she breathed in deeply and let it out slowly.

"you don't seem to be on edge" he said taking a drink, He called the bar keep over and waited until he had his second drink to finish. "but your pulse says other wise" He smiled, it had nothing to do with her pulse she was just acting so tense but there was no way she could guess that. It would make him seem scary, he was in the mood to scare someone anyway. "i like that, it tastes better" His smile now showed his teeth.

She looked at him a good long minute and smiled " you'd be on edge to if people were out to kill you" she said. He spoke about her pulse true it was kind of beating rapidly due to her occasional adrenaline rushes " yea it is kind of quick isnt it" she said. She was very tense but she was waiting on that bar door to come down and all hell break lose. She knew he was trying to be scary and it sort of worked with the way he looked with the blood red eyes and just the masculinity of him he was as they say pure male not sissified. She smiled without showing teeth " so you like Wild Turkey but not Jack Daniels" she asked casually.

"There are many people out to kill me, and many people I'm out to kill" he said, she didn't seem that bad of a person. "but what is the point of being on edge? what happens happens, at least if i go down I'll be relaxed and with all hopes a nice glass of rum." he said leaning back, that was how life worked you cant change it so why try. "yea but rum is better then them both, just not in the mood for it right now." he said, he really did like rum quite a bit more. "so who would be out to kill you? Or maybe what?"

She nodded listening to him intently and smiled they had things in common people to kill and people trying to kill them. " True very true" she grinned " rum makes it go down easy but whiskey burns all the way down." " True rum is my leisure drink but whiskey calms my nerves and reassures me " she said to him. She looked at him as he asked her a very personal question but she was more than relaxed and she smiled a smile meant to belong to the devil himself and spoke " my family of course they want my head on a platter. "

"What grade rum have you had? I like overproof rum or black myself, overproof is mixed with more alcohol then the 40% you would drink, most about about 70%" Family trying to kill her, were they vampires too? "other vampires?" he asked, at least he killed dogs of the earth, not other humans. "now why would they want to do such a thing?" he asked, even if she didn't answer him it wouldn't affect his life, it was more of something to do now.

" Hmmm I like Bacardi but thats about the only rum I am really willing to drink" she said. She heard him ask her if her family were vampires " oh yes they are and mean as hell I cant just fight them all at once they would slaughter me in a matter of seconds" she said. She looked at him for a long moment thinking about how to answer that last question and looked down pursing her lips before answering him " I took an innocent life and in doing that I brought attention to my family the more higher up vamps told them to execute me no matter what the cost" she said in a grave tone.

"you would be amazed at what i do with my life, at how i might be of help" he said, he just moved here and could use some money. "but i dont usually hunt vampires" he said finishing his drink, he was done for the night, he was just here for a drink not to get drunk. "And it usually cost's quite a bit" he didnt really know about hunting a family of vampires, but werewolfs were easy enough to kill and they worked in a pack.

She smiled more like sneered but not at him but the thought of it. " No thanks " she said softly taking a sip from her bottle. " I dont hunt anything what I did was an accident" she said eyes downcasted. She grinned " yea your right it involves money blood money" she said " but I can kill them all it wont be that hard just as long as I dont get trapped like a mouse in a corner by a cat." Kayla had experience killing all sorts of things her specialty was werewolves but vampires were so much more intresting and harder to kill. " I'm sure it costs alot probably an arm and a leg" she said finishing her bottle of wild turkey.

"i wouldn't joke around if i was you" he said patting where he hid his gun. "I'm not just some random hunter, I've made millions of dollars off this life, but as it turns out if you live as long as i have that much money doesn't seem like a lot" he looked upward. "If you would like one of there arms and a leg, that can be added into the bill, but don't call me stupid I'm wouldn't just jump at your whole family more like I'd pick them off one by one"

" I'm not joking I am trying to keep ther fear out of my voice and to ease the tenseness in my shoulder blades that feels like there are eye balls glaring a hole into them" she said. "I believe what you say dont think for a minute I dont" she whispered. " To be honest I am down to one family member which is my father cause the others rather suffer the the wrath of the council than kill me, but my father is a coward he obeys like a little puppy" she said with a sneer. She smiled she knew her father was close he was good at hiding and he wouldnt be easy to kill she knew that.
