At the House of Night things are as they have always been. There are new students frequently and fledglings dying just as frequently from their bodies rejecting the change. This place is the home to the vampyres and the fledglings where Nyx is worshiped for her great gift bestowed upon them. They are creatures of the night so it’s only natural they worship the Goddess of Night.
However, there is an unbalance growing everyday. The People of Faith, a highly religious Human group, see the vampyres and future vampyres as hell sent monsters. They want their destruction and believe that the school is a blasphemy against god. Certainly not all humans feel this way but the number of People of Faith grows every day.
Will the House of Night be able to withstand their cruel words and attacks or will it fade into non-existence? Will the vampyres strike back and start a war or find a subtle way to avoid the People of Faith? The events will unfold here at The House Of Night: Nyx’s Gift.
