Michael walked into the diner, his truck in the small parking lot outside. He breathed deeply, his mouth watering at the smell of freshly baked apple pie. He grinned to the girl serving before taking a seat by the window. She came over to him with her notepad ready. "I'll have a bacon sandwich and a slice of apple pie, please," he said, not even needing to look at the menu.

Valeria sat in a booth, sipping quietly on her water. She had finished her meal of a liver sandwich and a small salad. Liver was the closest thing that tasted like blood even though she didn't drink it like her family. She knew she would always thirst for blood, that was a vampire for you but she would not let herself hurt anyone. Not over her thirst for blood. She finished her water, wondering what she was going to do now.
Valeria had only came to the diner to get away from home, her father and mother had both attacked her because of her ways. She sighed, sometimes wishing she could be a normal vampire like all the other vampires instead of being an outcast. She put her head down, staring at her empty plate.

Michael heard a small sound from one of the booths in the corner and whipped his head round, searching for the source. A girl was sitting there, her eyes downcast. Michael's nostrils flared as he tried to catch her scent. He had to stifle a gasp as he smelt her on the air. The hairs on the back of his neck rippled as his heckles raised. He didn't take his eyes off of the vampire. If she made any move, Michael was ready.

Valeria picked her head up, noticing a look from a male over in another booth not too far from hers. She bit her lower lip, Werewolf. Not good, she thought, shaking her head as she tried to pretend like she hadn't noticed but she knew he knew she was vampire.
Valeria smiled politely as the waiteress came back with the check. She gave her the money, letting her keep the change as a tip and then grabbed her jacket. The male werewolf was still staring and it worried Valeria. She didn't want to fight but if she had to she would. She put on her jacket and slowly started to get up and head for the exit, wishing she didn't have to pass his booth.

Michael's eyes followed her as she stood up. It was very rare to see a vampire around here. He'd come in contact with very few since he'd been living here. His mind flicked to his brother before he shook his head and concentrated on the vampire again. She was moving nearer to him, presumably to get to the exit. He raised his shackles and growled softly, his legs tensed, ready to move.

Valeria heard him growl and she stopped, glaring at me. "I've done nothing to you so if you would like to keep it that way, back off." She warned him, she didn't appreciate being growled at for no apparent reason. Valeria hadn't deserved a warning. She held the glare for a second more then headed for the door, she stopped at it to stare at him again, her face falling soft as she stared.

Michael frowned a little and looked down. He felt a little ashamed of himself. He wasn't the aggressive sort, she'd just caught him off guard. "Look, I'm sorry," he called to her. "I didn't mean to offend you..." He felt weird saying it, after all, she was a vampire. But still, he had no good reason to be abraisive.

"It's alright. I understand. It's a tense world. Just don't judge me by what I am. I'm actually nicer than they make us out to be." Valeria gave him a soft smile, she nodded her thanks to his apology. "I should be going really. More places I want to visit before I go home. I'm Valeria by the way." She decided she would just introduce herself before she left him. She wondered if she would see him again.

Feeling her stomach growl in protest of not being fed Eira sighed and walked into the Diner. She didn't know what she was going to have or even what they served here but if it sut her stomach up it was good enough. Opening the rather sqeaky door Eira walked inside and sat down where ever he could find a seat, hence her sitting next to some old man who thought he could talk her into buying his jeep. She sighed and moved seats, thankful that this time there was no old man next to her. Looking up she saw the waitress come over and she ordered what ever was on special that day, whether she would like it or not she would eat it. At least she hoped her stomach would like it. She sighed and stoped them trail of thoughts before giving the place a small look over, going over a man she frowned and looked at him again, she could have sworn she had seen him before ... was he a member of the pack ... was he that Michael ...

Michael smiled back at the vampire, feeling stupid to jumping to conclusions. He of all people should know that not all vampires are monsters. "I'm Michael.." he said, relaxing a bit. "You sure you have to go? You could join me if you want..." He was nervous but thought he should ask anyway.
At that moment Eira, the werewolf he'd met in the barn, walked in. He sighed a little with relief. If Valeria did get airated, at least he'd have back up. He grinned at her and beckoned her over. He quickly looked back to Valeria, worried she'd think they were ganging up on her. "This is my friend Eira. Eira, this is Valeria..."

Valeria watched another girl come in, she moved out her way quickly as she was blocking the entrance. As Eira passed her, she knew she was a werewolf and it worried Valeria a bit. Two werewolves and a vampire in one restaurant, it seemed like a set-up.
When Micheal invited her over, she came quietly and sat down. Then he called Eira over and Valeria tried not to let her imagination run wild. She had only fought with werewolves a couple times but it still scared her to be around so many. Two was a lot to her. Anything more than one was a lot to her. "Hello, Eira. Nice to meet you." Valeria smiled, sweetly.

Eira looked at Michael and smiled slightly, surprised he remembered her. Walking over she took a seat and looked at Valeria for a moment, she tilted her head slightly while figuring out this other girl was a vampire she shrunk back a bit and moved her chair a little bit away. "Yeah same to you." She said with a small smile. She knew it was only one vampire and two werewolves but she was still really iffy around any vampire. Friendly or not. Eira looked at Michael an smiled a little more. "Didn't think you would remember me much, only had a small chat before." She said nicely, brushing her hair out of her eyes and looking back up at the Vampire ... Valeria rather. "So, you an OK Vampire or a rawr vampire?" She asked the other girl, putting an emphasis on 'rawr'.

Michael grinned at Eira. "Course I remember you..." he said, running a hand through his hair. Actually, thinking about seeing Eira made him want a cigarette. He pulled his packet out of the inside pocket on his jacket and took out a slightly crumpled smoke. He glanced up at the two...girls, and offered the pack to them. "Anyone?"
He put the packet on the table, indicating for them to take one if they wanted one, and lit up his cigarette with his lighter. He looked around to check they were in the smoking area then leaned back in his seat.
He glanced between Eira and Valeria as they spoke. He smiled at Eira's question. A rawr vampire? He'd never heard them called that before. He grinned and sat forward, taking a toke on his cigarette, before crossing his arms on the table. "Yea, Valeria, are you a rawr vampire?"

Valeria looked at the cigarettes, she usually smoked off and on, she wasn't an addict. She shook her head, politely as he lit his cig. She smiled as she personally called them 'cancer sticks' because if you smoked them long enough, you had a high chance of getting cancer.
She broke out of her thoughts when she heard Eira speak and she smiled weakly. "Both. You just choose what side you want to see." Valeria sounded bi-polar but that wasn't the case. Micheal had almost saw the rawr part of Valeria if he hadn't apologized.

Michael smirked and ran a hand through his hair. He smiled, a little nervously, between Val and Eira. "So, you both ok?" he asked, as the waitress came back with his food. He smiled at her and took the plates. The food smelled delightful, as usual, but Michael had kind of lost his appetite. He put the plates on the table and took a drag on his cigarette. The smoke slid roughly down into his lungs, calming his nerves. He breathed slowly out, away from the girls, not wanting to inflict his habit on them.
